The Challenge:
Our client, a leading US telecommunications manufacturer, felt that corruption in a West African country would sideline its efforts to secure a contract.
The Approach:
With the assistance of USG, BlueWave helped organize an event, hosted by the US Ambassador, at the embassy, with our client’s prospective customers in attendance. At the event, the Ambassador stressed that a free and fair tender would be a factor in maintaining a positive ongoing trade relationship between the US and the country. With assurances in hand, BlueWave then facilitated financing through the US Export-Import Bank to help the country afford our client’s platform.
The Result:
Our client won the tender.
