The Challenge:
Our client, a US technology company, was involved in a bid against a European competitor to provide comprehensive I.T. services to a newly merged South American transportation company. The South American company, our client’s pre-merger customer, was seeking to consolidate its business onto a single I.T. platform.
The Approach:
BlueWave facilitated a lunch at the US Ambassador’s residence during which the ambassador met the CEO of the transportation company and advocated on our client’s behalf. At the same time, BlueWave also facilitated a $780,000 training grant from the US Trade and Development Agency contingent on our client’s win.
The Result:
With our assistance, our client won the bid and more than doubled the amount of business it is doing with the merged transportation company.
