Nnaji Campbell joins BlueWave Merchant Partners as a Managing Director.

Nnaji is a former President Obama appointee who served as Senior International Trade and Investment Advisor for the U.S. Department of Commerce Advocacy Center, where he managed U.S. Government Advocacy on behalf of U.S. exporters. Specializing in Africa, he coordinated U.S. Government trade resources and diplomatic campaigns helping U.S. companies win new business and invest in emerging markets. In 2016, Nnaji received the U.S. Department of State and Department of Commerce Benjamin Joy Award for excellence in commercial diplomacy and advancing U.S. economic and commercial interests abroad.  
 
Prior to joining BlueWave, he worked for Meridiam, a global private equity infrastructure development firm, where he drove early stage project development and deal origination for public-private partnership projects.  Preceding his time at Commerce, Nnaji served in The White House where he communicated policy to a wide range of constituencies and stakeholders.
 
Nnaji holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (barred in NY State) and a B.A. in political science from Morehouse College. He resides in New York City with his wife and son.
